The Hub Hosts A French Night

Last Friday evening, Ross, at The Hub Espresso Bar and Eatery in Bathurst, hosted a magical evening of French styled Music, under the stars. With Veren Grigorov  on violin and Rob Shannon on  guitar, guests were treated to a lively rendition of both new and familiar jazz music, played not only with technical finesse, but also with heart and soul.

Born in Bulgaria, but calling Australia home since the 1980’s, Vern Grigorov is a dedicated devotee of the violin and Friday’s performance was one infused with great passion.

Rob Shaw plays several instruments and various styles of Jazz. He focusses on the jazz of Django Reinhardt. Speaking of which, Ross is organising another devotee of Django Reinhardt to perform at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre on February 21 when C.W.Stoneking will be performing at a dinner and concert. Tickets are available at the Hub and BMEC.

The Hub

Under the verdant grape vine, with the red Chinese lanterns glowing in the background, we were able to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and to catch up with old friends.

The elusive scent of jasmine wafting through the evening air was soon competing with the tempting aroma of garlic prawns as our meal commenced.

A bottle of Bollinger, a balmy Bathurst summer’s evening, the company of good friends, mesmerising music…..what more could one wish for?

What Others Have To Say

“When it comes to Waste Water Heat Recovery, Power-Pipe is the ideal solution for our properties as it is extremely cost-effective and easy to install.

“Using Power-Pipe has also allowed us to pass SAP regulations with certain house types which otherwise would have failed.

“It is the only system we’ve come across where 22mm connections come as standard, making it easy for our plumbers to incorporate when fitting it into homes. “The ongoing advice and support from the company’s technical team has been excellent so we are delighted to have Power-Pipes’ products and services on board at Redrow Homes.”
