ELM TREE ON PEEL


Elm Tree on Peel was the proud home of a movie buff in the late 1940's Art deco furnishings a "cinema" room and memorabilia recall the glamorous period. It is restored retaining many interesting Art Deco features.

It is centrally heated and sleeps six people in 3 bedrooms and is located only minutes from the CBD in a quiet leafy street.



The sitting room, which was originally the theatre room, with its chrome "naked lady" light fittings, has maintained its original character and is equipped with interesting reading materials, board games and a TV.

The polished floorboards add their own warmth to the ambience of the room.

Relax in the afternoon sun in the garden room with a good book, or have an afternoon kip if the mood takes you.


The main bedroom, facing northeast, captures the morning sun in winter.

It has a comfortable Queen bed and doona ensuring a good nights sleep.


This was originally the projection room for the theatre.

It is now a pretty yellow and blue single bedroom with an antique pine bed.
