DAVID JONES COTTAGE



As you walk into the spacious hallway of this Victorian Cottage you are transported back in time to an era when tall ceilings, polished floor boards and generous timber work all formed a backdrop to gracious living.

The bay window in the sitting room welcomes the sun during the day the central heating ensures you will be warm on the coldest of winter's evenings.


The four large bedrooms have King, Queen or single size beds with fluffy doonas.

The Gold Room is decorated with a Gustav Klimt theme; the Blue Room with a Van Gough theme;

The Green Room a garden theme and for Peach Room has an Australian Artists theme.


The kitchen is well equipped and spacious and encompasses dining/family room. A scented bower covered in old world roses is the focal point in the back garden which is a relaxing place to relax with a book or a cool drink.

David Jones Cottage was built in 1883 by David Jones who also built the Bathurst Court House and Abercrombie House - both famous Bathurst landmarks. It is close to the CBD and Charles Sturt University.
